TRUST: THE CRUX OF THE MATTER It is a better compliment to be trusted than to be loved. I read that from John C. Maxwell, and ever since Ive wondered what makes trust such a scarce commodity even in places where love is superabundant. Now, it seems quite ironical that trust should be central to such a concept as pretence because the two seem to harbour mutual animosity. Good Evening ! God has a stimulus package. If you put God first, He will put you first (Matthew 6:33). It is going to cost you everything to the do the things that God has called you to do. If you can bear the weight of your cross, He will bear the weight of your crown (Luke 9:23). Trust Him with your destiny! He has something divine in store for you that is beyond all that you can imagine or think (Ephesians 1:4). There is no plan that you can layout for yourself that surpasses the plans God has for you (Proverbs 3:5-6). God will put you in a situation where your faith is tested. You may only see a glimpse of the situation and wonder why you are there, but you have to give everything to it (Hebrews 11:6). Be humble, and fear the Lord as there is indeed honor and a reward in your reverence for Him (Proverbs 22:4). What have you sought the Lord for in your personal time of prayer and devotion?
