Good Morning!

It may be painful, but the good and and evil are both working for you! The things that hurt and wronged you are what brought you here today! If it were not for the pain, you would not have the power! His hedge of protection is all around you! Remember Romans 8:28, all you are experiencing is working together in a divine way to accomplish the plan God has for you. In 1 Samuel 16:13-18, we saw that Saul’s evil was David’s answer. You don’t have to get even with people, vengeance belongs to the Lord (Romans 12:19)! Trust God, He will deal with it! There are times that God will actually use evil to bless you. In Habbakuk, we see God use the Babylonians {who were evil} to help His plan come to fruition. Trust the wisdom of God (Proverbs 4:7)! He has given you His armor as a daily protection, are you making good use of it (Ephesians 6:13-17)? Continue to seek the Lord in prayer, and don’t be in a hurry to get through the pain (Proverbs 4:6-7) - your gifts are making room for you (Proverbs 18:16), and God is preparing to make a shift that is going to change the trajectory of your life - Get ready!

How do you see yourself?

Pain, hurt and loss affect us to our core. We replay our painful experiences on a continuous loop in our minds.  We wish the outcome had been different--that he would have loved us more or that they wouldn’t have abused us.  But no matter how good we get at masking the pain, our wounds haven’t even begun to heal. All that happened in your past was damaging, but it resides in the past. As we cling to feelings of being unworthy, unlovable or damaged, we invite experiences into our lives that mirror these negative self beliefs.  No matter what you try, the painful memories weigh you down.  But today this changes.   It is within your power to stop the destruction and change the stories in your head. Disappointments, hurt , fear, shame, and guilt are all things we go through, once in a while (some more frequently than others) and we sometimes allow these things to weigh on us. What’s more is that in those dark moments, we become silent, and secretly let those thoughts and emotions eat away at us. We feel as though we can’t open up to anybody, because maybe we feel ashamed; maybe we fear feeling misunderstood; or maybe we feel like we don’t want to burden others with our problems.
